On June 21st, we hosted our 2nd Annual Linc Schoenberger Hot Dog Fundraiser in honor of our former Vice President of Manufacturing who lost his battle with cancer in 2014. Linc was known for orchestrating our Employee Appreciation Day in which supervisors would cook for their employees.
The money raised during this fundraiser is donated to Relay for Life, the signature fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. OEM Controls has participated in the American Cancer Society/Naugatuck Valley Relay for Life since 2013 and has raised over $8,000 in our years associated with this organization.
This fundraiser has been a huge success in raising money for a great cause as well as honoring and remembering one of our own.
