Every summer, OEM Controls Inc. hosts a company picnic for all of its employees during the month of August. A simple appreciation gathering for our staff for all of the hard work they do each and every day to produce a full line of custom Hall effect controllers and joysticks, and more. In the weeks leading up to this year’s event, it was announced that there would be a dunk tank, and volunteers were asked to participate in the event. We are always looking for ways to give back to the community. The week before the picnic, balls were being sold and all of the proceeds would go to the Wounded Warriors Project. The purpose of the Wounded Warriors Project is to provide unique, direct programs and services to meet the needs of injured service members. In addition, ownership would match all collected donations leading up to and during the picnic. They also wanted to give back to our men and woman who make the ultimate sacrifice to help make our country safe every day! Altogether with the total sales and company match, OEM Controls Inc. was able to raise almost $3,000 for our heroes in uniform! We want to give a lot to those who gave a lot. We are all very proud of this accomplishment, and hope to do this again in the near future. It was a great day! If you would like to help those who make the ultimate sacrifice please visit http://www.woundedwarriorproject.organd make a donation.
