Lead Time and Price Increases for 2021

Dear Valued Customers,

I hope this letter finds you well. As we are all aware, the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic continues to create challenges throughout the world economy. The semiconductor industry, PCB industry and others are facing challenges with materials suppliers. Struggling with low demands throughout last year and the rising demands this year are causing the price of copper clad laminates to skyrocket, and a recent explosion at a major resin factory are forcing delivery delays and price increases as well.

We have very strong partnerships with our suppliers and are working with them in obtaining further inventory. However, we are being told that these disruptions to the supply chain are so great, that the entire global market is being impacted. OEM Controls Inc. has been absorbing the freight, precious metals, and copper foil increases throughout last year. Given this new information, we will have to adjust your current pricing as well as lead times and potential open order delivery dates beginning this quarter. We will keep you informed directly as these quick moving developments take hold.
