This is our first blog post since we opened in 1966. How times have changed! Over the years, we've continually improved our company and our products. OEM's headquarter in Shelton, Connecticut is 75,000 square feet, and we employ over 200 people! We keep OEM’s image a positive one in our community by participating in local fundraisers, supporting our local robotics team, and a variety of youth sports teams in our area.
If you haven’t already met us, let me briefly introduce OEM Controls, Inc. OEM prides itself on quality, customer support and one of the largest lists of available controller types and configurable options in the industry.
Along with our company's growth, our product line is continuously growing. OEM Controls’ joysticks can be found on cranes, aerial work platforms, paving equipment, garbage trucks, mining equipment, aerial fire-trucks and utility trucks, just to name a few of the industries we serve.
Controllers for these heavy machines need to be rugged, highly customized, and sold at a fair price. Our products and dedicated team to support our customers are what makes OEM Controls the go-to manufacturer. OEM offers more than 20 types of joystick, foot pedal and rotary controllers, more than 12 standard grip handles, and a multitude of mechanical and electronic modules. We also very proud of our ability to provide custom design and manufacture of controllers, multifunction handles and electronic modules.
